ahoy there!

although it is prohibited to take photos outside the docks i was able to manage some shots from the inside of the cargo vessel. the crew consists of all pinoys and their hospitality are superb. food was great (jap's friend is a cook) and the place was prepared for a mini concert and dancing.

so what kind of vessel was it? i went to an oil rig in Sharjah and was able to take tons of pictures. of course, at first they (Emirati Customs) wouldn't let me in because females are not allowed in the premises but finally relented after a lot of pleading and detaining my blue passport until I came back.

my blue passport was another story. they thought all pinays had brown or green passports. i always had to explain to them that i live in the USA!!!

bingskee: thanks!

gee: maybe for security reasons like airport, gov't offices, et al.

purplegirl: it was a cargo vessel carrying steel and other scrap metal. i wanna have a blue passport too! (but i will retain my citizenship as filipino. :P)

thanks for dropping by!
