last friday, i had a consigned shoot for the local guy in a construction setting. he wanted his portraits/glamour in this type of location. prior to this shoot, we already asked permission from the contractors but once again, we were asked by the police on what we're doing. fortunately this time, we were allowed to continue......but this time the contractor refused entry to the setting due to the police's inquiry. we had no choice but to move to another place and we opted to go to the "ruins."

the last photo is his dream shot with having cds scattered while sitting under the tree. i used external flash as remote and bounced it upwards with silver reflector to serve as fill.

What other people think:
I spotted ruins in Ras Al Khaimah, near the Al Hamra creek. Next to the Al Jazeera port is a whole abandonned village. Some abandoned buildings have patios with trees inside etc... you should find some good spots there!
