thirty one

the gift

i got surprised when she handed my gift in advance. at first, i thought she will give me boxer shorts because she's insisting on white color (in which i dont use white underwear...lol). when i ripped the wrapper, there it goes... a familiar gold box. i went ballistic and saw the number "60" in it. after hiatus on photography, i pulled out nikita (my d300), lodged "noni" in (i will name my 60mm lens from now on), and tried a few test shots using iso1600.

one in my wishlist is fulfilled. thanks baby, you're the sweetest!



dinner at pai thai

on the eve of my birthday, my friends gave me a treat at pai thai restaurant in madinat jumeirah. the food was great, good service, nice birthday cake (not a spinneys brand... :P) but sucky ambient light for photogs (high iso eh!).

a fookin' lovely experience. thank you guys!



2002 subaru impreza wrx

i bought this car from the petrol station the day before my birthday before going home. the 2002 subaru impreza wrx has the scale size of 1:24, and made of die-cast metal and small parts. yesterday, we just stayed at home and cooked spaghetti for dinner. while waiting for the housemates, i prepped a table-top studio. i used nikita (d300) with noni (60mm 2.8), circular polarizing filter on available lighting.
