if you’re looking for the exact location of “soloist island”, you cannot find it in google maps…
after a busy week at work, my buddies decided to visit the place once again to unwind. prepared late in the evening and waking at 4am, it’s time we gave it a go.

the “soloist island” was discovered during their solo moments when going for a photo trek. it was actually a public beach located at the corniche in sharjah. it was my second time i visited the place. unlike my previous visit, it was high tide and there were no clouds. we were still fortunate that the sandstorm from yesterday dissipated temporarily. since the sky were dull, i took the minimalistic approach.
during this trek, i just brought one camera body, my heavy duty tripod, remote release, a couple of gnds and other filters, wide-angle lens, and diving shoes. the rocks in the sea were a real challenge to cross especially if you wear flip-flops. slipping in a mossy or wet surface can be disastrous to you and your equipment. believe me, i’ve seen those type of accidents many times.
