most of the time, i have been passing through a pink structure called atlantis sitting at the edge of palm jumeirah. one night, i needed to relieve myself and decided to enter the hotel. by chance, i was able to bring my camera with me and this magnificent art sculpture greeted me at the lobby.
the “atlantis sealife tower” is a glass art sculpture made by dale chihuly, a renowned american glass sculptor who made various installations around the globe. this 31ft-high centerpiece is a collection of multicolored worm-like curls which represents fire and water.

i bumped the iso to 1600 due to very low-light conditions so i can shoot it handheld. that compensated the camera shake but pixel noise was prominent. it would be more convenient (and less noise) if i had a tripod with me. i removed the noise via lightroom and post-processed it further to photoshop.
