i’ve been craving for a steak in a long time. last night, we visited and filled our bellies at seafire steakhouse and bar in atlantis.

another year has passed and just like any other photographer, we highlight the year in pictures. as we look back, these are bits and pieces that occured for the past twelve months. it has been a quiet year for me in photography but to say at least, still was a blast.
happy new year everyone!

this was taken last year when im doing some test shots using off-camera flashes. i used one shoot-through umbrella as main light and the computer chair as background. i could not find any santa hat that can fit into our pet raby’s head. i’ve been naughty and decided to do a composite of the hat instead.
merry christmas and happy new year everyone!

it was quite unusual to see a heavy equipment parked in the middle of the desert. this crawler was probably waiting for a parcel of land to be moved and built for a new man-made structure. dubai at that time was expanding. construction sites are everywhere and this lonely dunes of bawadi was not an exception.

last year, we finally visited our dream destination and enjoyed it for a week. located south of india, maldives consists of coral islands or atolls, making it the most dispersed country in the world in geographic terms. the islets are scattered around the ocean and boats are the only means of transportation. as we landed to the airport, we were greeted by the hotel staff and took us to our speedboat for an hour ride to our resort. we saw this small ship that ran aground as we were heading out to open waters.
