one of enjoying moments during our visit to india is experiencing cultural shows such as kathakali and kalaripayattu. after seeing much of the stunts, swordfights and fighting, the performers played with fire.

it was dawn when we drove from cochin airport to munnar. we were fortunate to see waterfalls on the way when morning came. due to monsoon, they were popping left and right of our windows.

finally, i found a little breather from a toxic month-long project. while i am starting to update my portfolio, i found a series of unstitched shots of the sunset deck of kandooma, maldives in april 2009. with the help of my friend roy alvarez who specialises in vr (virtual reality) photography, we collaborated in relive the paradise once more.

looking back in 2008, my friends and i went for a week-long photo trek in the province of palawan, philippines. we explored and capture the beauty of nature in the small town of el nido. it was our third day when we took the whole-day island hopping tour. unfortunately, the boat owners operate during daytime only and we missed the opportunity of sunrise and sunset on these islands. the photo above was taken at helicopter island using nd8 and medium graduated density filter on a bright morning.
