another year has passed and just like any other photographer, we highlight the year in pictures. as we look back, these are bits and pieces that occured for the past twelve months. it has been a quiet year for me in photography but to say at least, still was a blast.

it has always been busy for this time of the year. closing deals and accounts, annual reports, final pitches and other work-related stuff must be done before the new year unfolds. most of the people have gone for the holidays and parties. the “unlucky” ones usually have to take the burden to keep the ball rolling. over-ty (thank you) and last minute deadlines were part of the game.

amazing how simple things can be looked interesting. this wall wast taken at the meydan hotel when we went for a friday brunch with colleagues. somehow, it looked like a giant barcode optically scanned as i passed by and processed thru the lens.

dubai is known for breaking world records. one of them is hosting the dubai world cup, world’s richest horse race day. to match its grandeur, jumeirah installed their latest hotel development – the meydan.
