the weather in dubai is cooling down as the -ber months just started. it was also a good time to go outdoors and take photographs around the city. invited by my old phototrekker buddies, we went for an impromptu walk at the dubai marina.

still at the dubai creek, i took a picture of dhows docked along the banks of deira. also a traditional vessel, it primarily carry goods from east africa, the arabian gulf and the subcontinent.

abras used to be the primary means of transportation between the two sides of the creek before cars could cross it via the several bridges or the al shindagha tunnel. today, it is mostly used by tourists, common folk and nostalgics.
